In-n-Out is the uber-burger. I like the simplicity of the menu there: Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double Cheeseburger, Fries, and Shakes. No chicken. No "fish." No bullshit. They haven't made it to Albuquerque yet, and there's no White Castle here, either. This town blows.

Big Sugar D in the house!! Great blog as usual. Forget the CardPlayer and PokerPages, I know I've officially arrived now that I have my DavidZeitlin.com shoutout. :) It still pains me to hear about your KK vs. AK hand....I remember seeing the pain in your face when you first told me about it at the Venetian. Nothing wrong with letting out a primal scream once in a while after something like that. One time at the Borgata, I was the bubble boy after this donk sucked out on me on the river. He raised from early position, and I knew he was full of shit and just making a move on the bubble. I looked down at AQ from mid pos. and was sure I had him dominated. I was kinda short on chips so I couldn't just raise...so I shipped it. I still had some fold equity and he could have folded, but instead he thought for a minute and said "I guess I'll double you up", and decided to call. He flipped over 5 9 off. Flop comes Q68, so I hit top pair. Turn is a blank. Guess what comes on the river. People said "great read, just unlucky" to me, but it was little consolation. When the floor guy announced on the mic "Congratulations, you're now all officially in the money!" a big round of applause let out...at which point my anger got the best of me and I took the water bottle that was in my hand and slammed it down on the ground with so much force that it sounded like a gunshot, and bounced across the room. Everyone looked up in shock and was wondering what the sound was from, and the floorguy got back on the mic to say "Don't worry, everything's alright". Gordon(k) was witness to that whole scene...I think even he ducked for cover when that sound let out.
Ahh...In N Out Burger....aka heart attack on a bun. That trip was the 1st time I've ever experienced their burgers...and I have to agree....pretty damn good. I think it might've been the day after our Rhyno excursion, so it definitely was good hangover food. The sauce though kinda reminds me of the Big Mac somehow...maybe its the 'thousand island'-like dressing they use. Still....very yummy.
Anyway, I hope my nickname becomes "MAX-cash" very soon...I need to be a luckbox like Vinny and Gordonko one of these days. Otherwise the next time you come up to the counter at In-N-Out, you might see yours truly in the hat and uniform asking if you want to "SuperSize" it. It would be funny if it weren't true.... :-(

Dave-Felix mentioned the blog and I decided to check it out. Its a very good read, both educational, and at times absolutely hilarious. Thanks for the nice long post as I'm sure it pained you the write it at times given the inauspicious ending. I busted day 1 of the ME and played absolutely horrific. I played 1D, and just bled money while I was out in Vegas in general. From one east coast guy to another, you've been one of the most consistent guys the last few years. Unfortunately, running bad is part of the roller coaster ride we continue to ride day after day. It seems like you're still making solid decisions which is all you can do. It will turn around bud, you know that. I will see you in Sept at the Borgata...I think Bodog has you as a 2:1 favorite to take down the $500 buyin...

Rich: I messed around on the pokerstars Step sit 'n go's with mixed results, never won a seat. Otherwise I didn't try to qualify this year.

Dave: No offense taken at all. I don't pretend that I play perfectly, sometimes I don't even play decently. :) I'm open to all comments and criticism. Thanks again for reading and commenting.

Yeah, I was wondering why you didn't fire the turn when everyone was showing weakness but if they called a raise pre... Hopefully I didn't come across as trying to bust your balls or anything though cuz I wasn't trying to do that at all. Very entertaining read by the way and best wishes and success to you and yours.
