I’m excited to announce some good news: I have just signed my first poker sponsorship deal with the online site Lock Poker.
Lock Poker is a promising Cake network room that is fairly new on the online scene. I am proud to be included in their recent flurry of signings and will be joining fellow PPI Elite players Eric ‘Rizen’ Lynch, Jason Young, Mike Leah, Lee Childs, Matt Stout, Joe Brooks, Kyle Bowker and Jonathan Jaffe as resident Lock Pros.
Signing a deal like this one is one of the distant goals ambitious professional poker players set for themselves when they first choose this career path. It really is great news. This affiliation would not have been possible without the assistance of my agency Poker Players International and Randy Kasper in particular. In turn, my membership in PPI was made possible because I managed to distinguish myself in the messy and cluttered US tournament poker scene. It is thus with great satisfaction that I accept the honor of being paid to play poker.
Part of my deal with Lock Poker is the expectation that I will bring them some business–kind of like an equity partner at a law firm–only less lucrative and much cooler. So let’s make it rain:
I have been authorized to offer a 110% signup bonus up to $600 to anyone who links through to Lock Poker using the banner ads on this blog or the direct link http://www.lockpoker.com/download/dzeitlin (be sure the bonus code ‘dzeitlin’ appears when you sign up). Lock Poker is currently offering 33% rakeback to players outside of North America but is unable to offer rakeback to us North Americans. However, I have been assured that if/when rakeback becomes available worldwide, it will not be restricted to new signups and will be extended to anyone who has joined using my promo code. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding Lock Poker and I will be happy to answer them. My Lock Poker email is dzeitlin@lockpoker.com, and the contact button at the top of this blog will still do the trick.
This announcement also marks a return to high(er) volume online play for me, this time as a marked man. I’ll be more frequently found online now, mostly at the low to moderate stakes that are in Lock Poker’s current wheelhouse. I’m ready.
I hope to see you at the tables on Lock!
